Five Checks Before You Call Anyone
Simple zone-by-zone checks that save time and narrow the search.
Run each zone manually and watch: which zone behaves differently tells you where to focus. Note pressure, sound and wet spots per zone.
With the system off, check the meter or pump: movement means something is passing a valve or leaking on the mainline. Check each valve box for standing water.
Look at heads and emitters for obvious damage, and check the controller for overlapping programs. These simple facts make the professional investigation faster and cheaper.
